The Plot Thickens: Detective Edition is all about making up stories together with your friends. You get cards with people, places and objects in your hand. With those you build your character's story bit by bit, right up to the fate that awaits him or her. You earn points for every card you use, and it gets even better when you tie your story to those of the others. The storyteller with the most points gets to be the main character and invent the ending. And the player who best matched their own cards earns the honour of being the writer and choosing the story's title. That way a new adventure grows at the table every time, full of unexpected turns and surprising plots. The different genres of The Plot Thickens can be combined with each other.
