The Night Cage

You wake up in the dark. Your skin is cold, your head feels empty and you carry nothing. Only a flickering candle and a nagging question: how long will my light keep burning? All around you stretches a maze of endless darkness, and the only way out is together. In The Night Cage you all crawl through a pitch-black labyrinth. The faint candlelight shows only what lies right next to you, so you cannot see more than a few steps ahead. And that is exactly the problem, because the Wax Eaters lurk in the dark. These creatures hate light and wait patiently for the moment you are vulnerable. Every move you make counts. This is a fully cooperative game, so you win or lose together. To escape, every player must find a key, reach a gate and slip outside as a group. Watch out: as soon as you move on, the tiles that fall into the darkness leave the game for good. Turn around and the old path is gone. Keys and gates can simply dissolve if you move your light somewhere else. Exciting, suffocating and above all something you get through together.
