The Game

This is the Dutch-language edition. In The Game, players try to play all 98 cards from the deck onto four discard piles to win, but they have to do it the right way.

Each player starts with 6-8 cards in hand, depending on the number of players, and there are four discard pile prompt cards on the table: two with "1" and an arrow pointing up, and two with "100" and an arrow pointing down. On a turn, a player must discard at least two cards from their hand onto one or more discard piles. Cards on the 1 piles are placed in ascending order and cards on the 100 piles are placed in descending order. A tricky part of the game is that you may play a card exactly 10 higher/lower than the top card of a discard pile, even when you would normally have to play in descending/ascending order. For example, if a 100 pile has an 87 on top, you can play any card lower than 87, or you can play the 97.
