Deep in the mountains of Japan, a battle between two mighty dragon armies has raged for centuries. They fight for the hand of princess Kushinada, the fairest of eight sisters. The fighting was so fierce that the villagers called on a sorcerer for help. He locked the dragon lords inside a circle, where they will only go free once the battle is decided. And so they fight on to this day, while the princess herself has long become a legend. In Tatsu you command three kinds of dragons and move them with two dice. You decide whether to add the pips together or use them separately, and in this way you move your dragons around the inner ring of the board. If you land on the same space as another dragon, something happens. Green vine dragons hold an opponent in place, blue water dragons wash a dragon off the board and red fire dragons make short work of things and remove a dragon from the game entirely. Victory goes to whoever destroys all of the opponent's dragons of one kind, or whoever manages to push the whole enemy force off the board. Every roll brings a new choice and every move can turn the fight around. Exactly the kind of duel you want to play together again and again.
