Task Force

Step back in time with Task Force, a strategic two-player duel that already got hearts racing back in the fifties. Each of you gets your own board with three islands on it. On it you secretly place all your units: tanks, battleships, destroyers, planes, landing craft and of course your headquarters. Your opponent sees nothing of your setup, and you see nothing of theirs. That makes every move exciting. The goal? Find out on which island your opponent's headquarters is hiding. Sink the other player's battleship and you get a hint: north or south. After that you need to knock out all installations on that island and send a landing craft to the shore. There are other roads to victory too. Destroy both of your opponent's landing craft, or disable all their planes and ships, and the battle is won. Task Force feels familiar to anyone who likes battleship-style games, but it has a bit more depth. Perfect for two players aged 8 and up who fancy half an hour of tactics, bluffing and tension at the table. Who keeps a cool head and is the first to find the secret headquarters?
