This edition is in French and Dutch. At the Japanese Imperial Court, long ago... After great quarrels, relations between China and Japan are finally harmonious. To celebrate this alliance, the Chinese emperor offered his Japanese counterpart a sacred animal, a giant panda from China, a symbol of peace.
The Emperor of Japan entrusts the players, who play his courtiers, with the delicate mission of caring for the panda by laying out a bamboo plantation. They have to adapt to the sacred animal and its excessive taste for crunchy stalks and tender leaves...

In this Dutch-language version of the board game Takenoko, your task is to care for the Panda and look after his bamboo garden. You will have to cultivate land, irrigate it and grow bamboo with the help of the Imperial gardener. But be careful, because the sacred animal has an extraordinary taste for fresh, juicy bamboo shoots... The player who grows the most bamboo, manages their land best and feeds the Panda wins the game!
