Synergy

Together at the table, together in search of that one perfect moment. In Synergy you work through 30 different missions with your team. The goal sounds simple: play your rounds without a single mistake. But that only works if colours and numbers line up exactly, like a piece of music in which every note is right. Each round you play cards step by step. Usually the order is number-target-number, and you place all cards face down. Only when everyone has chosen do you turn them over. That makes it exciting: you have to sense what your fellow players are going to do and pick the right moment yourself. Action cards sometimes give you a helping hand, while challenges and the super and hyper cards make things a lot harder. Synergy is a cooperative game with a campaign that you work through step by step. You win together or you lose together, so talking things over and keeping an eye on each other are all part of it. As soon as the last card hits the table, you know: did you play in perfect harmony, or does the team still need to tune in a little more? A lovely challenge for three to five players aged ten and up, in about half an hour per game.
