Sometimes you have to leave the beaten path to find that one spot you want to capture. In Sunset Over Water you become a painter who gets up early, heads deep into the wilderness and goes looking for the finest view. For six days you walk through beautiful landscapes, paint what you come across along the way and sell your work for fame. One time you paint something on commission, another time you keep a painting for yourself. Every day starts with a plan. You choose a card that decides how early you set off, how far you can walk and how much you can paint along the way. Whoever leaves first often gets to pick the prettiest spots. At the end of the day you sell your paintings, chase the daily goals and quietly count your points. After the sixth day you add everything up together. The game takes about twenty minutes and plays with one to four people, from age 8 up. Playing on your own works wonderfully too. Sunset Over Water has a peaceful feel and still offers enough choices to keep your attention.
