Subdivision

In Subdivision you step into the shoes of a property developer. Together with the others you build a brand new neighbourhood, but there is a catch. Where you may build is not entirely up to you, and what your neighbours put down affects the value of your own piece of land. That creates an exciting game of looking ahead and striking at just the right moment. The goal is clear: push down the value of your opponents and raise your own. Every move counts, because luck plays no part here at all. It is all about thinking carefully and seeing through the moves of the others. Whoever has the best plan builds the most valuable neighbourhood. Subdivision is an abstract game that you play with Icehouse pieces on a chessboard, which together make a city that grows before your eyes.
