Splendor Duel is a brand new 2-player game set in the Splendor universe, with unique and innovative game mechanisms, designed by Marc Andre and Bruno Cathala.
On your turn you take tokens from the board, or you use the tokens you already have to buy jewel cards. Make clever use of the privilege scrolls, which let you take a gem or pearl token of your choice from the board. The jewel cards give you prestige points and crowns, which you need in order to win. These cards also offer special abilities and bonuses that can lower the cost of buying future jewel cards.
To win you must meet at least one of the three conditions shown on the victory tile: 20 or more prestige points, 10 or more crowns, or 10 or more prestige points on cards of the same colour.
