In Spammers you take on the role of a cunning con artist who tries to trick as many people as possible with piles of junk mail. You put your scams on the table and try to sell them through all kinds of mailing lists. The better your scam matches the list you send it to, the bigger your chance of scoring. There are four types of scams: sex, internet, money and free stuff, and it is exactly those texts and pictures that bring plenty of laughs to the table. Each turn you pick a scam and a list and roll the die. Roll under the size of the list and you succeed and earn points. Roll really low and you even score double. But watch out: every time you spam a list, angry subscribers unsubscribe and the list gets smaller. Hardware cards let you bend the rules in handy ways, and special effects let you get in your opponents' way. The first player to reach twenty points or build up a single scam worth twelve points wins. But you have to hold on to your lead for a full round before it counts, so everyone gets one more chance to bring you down. That makes Spammers a game full of mean jokes, tension right up to the end and lots of fun for two to six players.
