Silver Dagger

In Silver Dagger it is all about having as few werewolves around your village as possible. Everyone starts with five cards on the table, face down. You may take a quick look at two of them, the rest stays a surprise. The cards run from 0 to 13, and the higher the number, the more werewolves the character attracts. Every character also has its own special ability, and those are what make each round different. On your turn you take a card and decide what to do with it. Do you use the character's power, simply discard the card, or swap it for one of your own cards? Silver Dagger has fourteen new roles you have not seen before in the series. Think of the zombie that can reverse the direction of play, the creditor that subtracts points from your opponents, or the halfling that halves your whole score for the round. Zombies are also not easy to get rid of, which makes for great tension. Do you think you have the fewest werewolves? Then you call for a vote. Your opponents then get one last chance to save themselves or to trip you up. The nice thing about the Silver series is that you can combine games. Pick roles from Silver Amulet, Silver Bullet, Silver Coin or this one and build your own deck. That way you never play the same game twice.
