Japan, 1959. The world's first high-speed train has to be ready for the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo. In Shinkansen: Zero-Kei you step into the shoes of the builders. Together you lay the famous Tōkaidō line, with all the stations that belong to it. Whoever works most cleverly wins the game. Each round you build up your own bullet train. Every carriage you add to your train gives you an action or a special power. That way you lay track and stations, help get the Olympic venues finished on time and collect new carriages. Each carriage belongs to a city along the line. If you manage to build them in the right order, that earns you plenty of points. The game lasts five rounds, just like the five years the real construction of the line took. At the end everyone counts their points. Whoever has the most may call themselves the winner. A game full of puzzling and thinking ahead for one to four players, in which you bring a piece of history to life together at the table.
