Shiftago is all about something that looks surprisingly simple: make a row of marbles in your colour. But as soon as you start, you notice how layered this game is. You slide marbles onto the board from the edge. The marbles that are already there? They slide along too, one space further. As long as nothing falls off the board, anything goes. So the playing field changes with every move someone makes. What makes it so much fun to play together is that you are never just busy with your own plan. You keep an eye on your opponent's marbles, you see a row growing and you push it off balance just in time. With 88 glass marbles, every turn feels tangible and real. A little sliding, a little thinking, and then that smile when your row is finally complete. There are three variants in the box, so the game grows with you. In Shiftago Expert and Extreme you may remove marbles from rows that have already been formed. That opens up space and new chances, but it also brings new dangers. Ideal for players aged 8 and up who like just that bit of extra tension.
