Scattergories

Picture this: you have the letter T and you need to think of an animal, a city and something from the kitchen, fast. The sand timer keeps running and everyone is hunched over their list, writing. That is exactly the feeling Scattergories brings to the table. A game full of words, laughter and that one moment when you think: why can't I think of anything right now? It works wonderfully simply. Everyone gets the same list of categories and the same letter. For each category, think of an answer that starts with that letter. You only score points if nobody else wrote down the same thing, so being original pays off. After three rounds you add everything up and you know who had the sharpest way with words. Scattergories is for 2 to 6 players and a game takes about 30 minutes. Perfect for a fun evening with friends or family, where you are guaranteed to burst out laughing at each other's crazy answers.
