Savernake Forest

Autumn is drawing to a close in Savernake Forest. The animals are getting ready for a long, cold winter and they need plenty of supplies. And you happen to be the one lending them a hand, or rather a paw. In Savernake Forest you build your own piece of woodland full of little paths where animals and tasty food appear. Foxes, hedgehogs, beavers, owls, rabbits, woodpeckers and wildcats: up to 23 different animal species live here together. Every animal has its own taste. The fox loves eggs, but happily ignores berries and nuts. Your task is to match the right animal with its favourite food on every path. On your turn you add a card to your forest, keeping a few simple rules in mind: never two animals on the same path, cards must touch each other, and everything fits within a 4 by 4 grid. Once everyone has finished their forest of 16 cards, the game is over. Along the way you get help from special guests. The rooster makes sure you are up early and get to choose first, the armadillo digs roomier burrows so you can store more food, and the goat teaches you how to make everything that little bit juicier.
