Rotaris

Picture this: you are sitting across from each other at the table, and between you lies a board that can turn. Rotaris is a game for two players that looks simple but really gets your brain working. The board consists of a hexagonal frame, a rotating ring and a rotating centre piece. Each of these three parts has holes where you place marbles. The goal is simple: get five marbles in a row. But just when you think you are about to win, your opponent turns the ring or the centre piece a little further. And bang, there goes your lovely row. On every turn you also turn a part of the board yourself, so you have to keep thinking ahead. Who plans best and keeps the overview? A game of Rotaris takes only five minutes, so you can easily play a few in a row. Perfect for a quick duel in between, or when you want to challenge someone to 'just one more'. Suitable from age seven and easy to pick up straight away, but believe us: winning is not that easy.
