Welcome to the era of Rococo Deluxe
Louis XV rules in France and it is the height of fashion to attend his lavish balls. That's where you need to be, because that's where important celebrities dress up in extravagant dresses and fancy gowns. They are all eager to outdo each other in elegance and grace. Welcome to Rococo Deluxe!
In just a few weeks, Louis XV will host the last Grand Ball of the season, and everyone is clamoring for an elegant dress coat here, a sumptuous gown there, or even a small sum to finance the grand fireworks display.
You soon realize that it is not just about your tailoring business; it is about creating a presence at the most prestigious ball of the time and the chance to gain eternal fame and prestige.
Enhance your stature in Rococo Deluxe
In Rococo: Deluxe Edition, you are the owner of a renowned tailoring company trying to increase their prestige. Each turn you play an employee card that allows you to perform a task, such as hiring a new employee for your staff, tailoring beautiful gowns and dress coats to rent or sell, or funding some of the many decorations.
However, employees are not always able to perform all tasks, so you need to plan carefully how you manage them, especially since each employee grants a unique bonus, including some that generate prestige.
Grand ball with fireworks
The Grand Ball ends after seven rounds with a huge fireworks display and the final countdown. You earn prestige points for the sumptuous gowns and dress gowns you rented out to guests at the ball, certain employee bonuses and the festive decorations you funded. The one who has accumulated the most prestige at the end of the game wins.
