Raptor Race

Raptor Race children's game

This edition is in German, English, French, Dutch and Spanish. On your marks... Race with raptors through the prehistoric landscape to the finish line! This game won Toy of the Year 2024 in the children's games category.

How to play Raptor Race

Give every player a goal card. On this card you see the top 3 raptors. You have to get your raptors across the finish line in that order! Keep the card secret, or your opponents can get in your way.

Now roll the 4 dice. Pick at least 1 die (you may also pick 2, 3 or all 4 at once) and re-roll the remaining dice. Of course, you want as many dice as possible in the colours of your top 3 goal card.

As soon as you have chosen 4 dice, you move the raptors across the board. A red T-Rex footprint means you move a raptor of your choice one space backwards. That comes in handy if you want to get in your fellow players' way!

What makes Raptor Race a fun children's game

After a few games we are fans here at Kapitein Spel. The rules are simple; the kids understood how the game works within 5 minutes. For mum and dad the game still offers a challenge: working out which colours everyone has on their goal card (and getting in their way!).

The game is fun and exciting, because all the raptors race further every round. And perhaps the most important thing for children: racing with dinos. Dinos are always a hit.
