Raptor

You are stranded on a mysterious island and there is only one goal: find three treasures and escape before the Raptorsaur catches you. The board unfolds piece by piece as you flip over terrain tiles and lay them down. That way nobody knows in advance what lies around the next bend in the jungle. In Raptor you creep through temples, collect items and use them at just the right moment. Each turn you have action points to move, pick up objects, enter temples or snatch a treasure from another player. And then comes the most exciting part: at the end of your turn you move the monster yourself, closer to the others or further away from you. The first player to reach the base with three treasures wins. Until then it stays a balance between taking risks and getting out in time. Perfect for an evening full of tense looks, little bits of teasing and cheering when someone escapes just in time.
