Race for the Galaxy

Race for the Galaxy is a fast-paced card game in which you build a galactic empire by colonizing worlds, developing technologies and planning economic strategies. Choose your actions each round, find synergy in your cards and race against your opponents to become the most successful civilization!

About the game

In Race for the Galaxy, you are a visionary leader building an intergalactic empire. Build new worlds, develop advanced technologies and optimize your economy to stay ahead of your opponents. The game is a mix of plotting your strategy, tactical planning, building and discarding the right cards that affect your future every turn.

Each round, players simultaneously choose an action, such as Explore, Develop, Colonize, Produce or Consumption & Trade. Only the chosen phases are played, and players who select an action receive an extra bonus. This means you must not only optimize your own strategy, but also anticipate your opponents' choices.

The game proceeds over several rounds, with each player:

• Choose Actions - Each player selects an action card and places it face down. Once everyone has made their choice, they are revealed and executed.
• Explore and colonize worlds - Draw cards to discover new planets and technologies and expand your empire.
• Builds Developments - Invest in advanced technologies and economic advantages to make your empire stronger.
• Production and trade manages - Some worlds produce goods that you can sell or consume to earn extra points.

The game ends when a player has 12 cards in his tableau or when the victory points run out. The player with the most points wins and becomes the ruler of the universe!
