With this edition, Qwirkle really can be played anywhere. Thanks to the handy bag and the smaller tiles, the game now even fits on the camping table. The rules are the same as those of the base game. Players still form series of symbols to score the most points.

The Qwirkle Reiseditie makes holidays even more fun!

The abstract game Qwirkle consists of 108 wooden blocks with six different shapes in six different colours. There is no board, players simply use any flat surface that is available.

How do you play Qwirkle Reiseditie

Players start the game with six blocks. The starting player places blocks with a single matching attribute (colour or shape, but not both) on the table. After that, a player adds blocks that are adjacent to at least one previously played block. The blocks must all be played in a row and, without duplicates, match the colour or shape of the previous block.

Players score one point for each block played plus all adjacent blocks. It is possible for a block to score in more than one direction. If a player completes a line that contains all six shapes or colours, six extra points are scored. The player then refills their hand up to six blocks.

The game ends when the draw bag is empty and one player plays all of their remaining blocks, earning a bonus of six points. The player with the highest score wins.
