Positano

Welcome to Positano, a sunny village on the Italian coast. The houses rise like a staircase against the rock face, looking out over the blue sea. In this game you are a builder, trying to grab the finest spots. But watch out: only buildings with a clear view of the water really score you points. Each round you play two bidding cards at the same time. With those you compete for the tiles you need. Those tiles decide where you may build, how many building blocks you get and how handsome your new house becomes. On the game board with its different heights you stack your buildings in three dimensions, while your rivals keep an eye on the same view. Besides the sea view, you earn points with gelato and with the goal cards laid out at the start. Because three different goals come up every time, you never play the same game twice. Positano plays with one to four builders and gives you about 45 minutes of puzzling, bidding and building together.
