Picture this: the Soviet Union is looking the other way, and Poland sees its chance. After years of tension on the border with Hungary, it is time to settle the score. In Platoon Commander: Poland Strikes you step into the boots of a commander and lead tanks, infantry and artillery in a fictional Cold War conflict. It is a game for two players, but it also plays perfectly well solo. Every turn is full of choices. You decide who has the initiative, draw action cards that can turn the course of the battle on its head, and then the firefight breaks out. Tanks shoot at each other, dice roll across the table, and with the right card at the right moment you can completely reverse a tricky situation. After that comes movement, where you never know exactly when the enemy will open fire. That tension makes every move exciting. In the box you will find three scenarios, 18 action cards, 88 counters and a beautifully drawn map of the Polish-Hungarian border.
