Peak Oil: Profiteer

In Peak Oil: Profiteer you step into the shoes of a top manager at an oil company. You are sent to a country torn apart by war. There is plenty of oil to be found, but no one who can sell it. That is where you come in. Your goal? Make as much money as possible before corruption destroys the country completely. This is a tactical game in which the cards call the shots. You all choose your actions at the same time, fight over territories and keep a constant eye on each other. Each round you make your team stronger by hiring consultants. Meanwhile you try to gain influence over the three warring factions in the country. Control of the oil fields keeps shifting between the so-called "government", the "National Liberation Front" and the noble "Guerrilla Militia". Make sure you are in the right place at the right moment, with the right leader on your side. Bluff your opponents out, blackmail politicians and sell weapons to whoever needs them. Anything to make the oil, and therefore the money, flow your way. A tough game full of hidden motives and exciting choices, for everyone who loves hard negotiation and interaction.
