This third expansion adds a brand-new piece to the game: the Ninja. And it moves differently from all the others. It moves in secret, hidden from your opponent, until the moment you decide to strike. There are two ways to play. In the Way of the Shadow you each get your own Ninja, making it an even fight full of bluffing and surprises. In the Way of the Light, one Ninja plays against a classic player with a Master and Students. Two very different atmospheres, both just as exciting. You add Onitama Light and Shadow to your existing Onitama game. So it cannot be played on its own, but together with the base game it opens up a new layer of tactics and tension.
