Publisher: Kayenta Games
A colourful collection of ideas, born from the player community itself.
During the Kickstarter campaign for Upstairs, Downstairs in 2019, players got the chance to come up with their own promo tiles. Out of dozens of entries, the publisher picked twenty that fitted the theme and really added something to the game.
Two entries stood out: the parish church with parsonage by Stephen Cleary and the Babbling Brook by M.J. Petrie. These earned a permanent place in the Upstairs, Downstairs expansion.
And the other eighteen tiles? They now shine in a separately available set, perfect for anyone who likes to dig deeper into the game. You will find a mix of service, estate, essentials, prestige, sport and specialised tiles. Think of:
A garden observatory where you spot comets
A hot air balloon that just barely fails to lift off from the east lawn
An art gallery where you can take on any role you like
And of course plenty of ways to take your servants to the next level
Everything fits beautifully with the atmosphere of the Victorian era. These tiles are not loose odds and ends, but little pieces of story that make your game richer, more playful and more lively.
PLEASE NOTE: All tiles require the Obsession base game, and six tiles require the Upstairs, Downstairs expansion. Also included: Alderley Hall costume ball.
