Nilo

Life flourishes along the banks of the Nile. You build obelisks there and carve sphinxes on the finest spots the water has to offer. But watch out, because the river is rising. The lowest stretches go under first, along with everything standing on them. In Nilo you take turns placing a tile and drawing a new one. That way you shape the course of the river together and put your buildings in the best places. Meanwhile you try to make your opponents' constructions sink, while lifting your own ships higher. When the river bursts its banks, the lowest tile disappears under water. The buildings on it are gone, but the ships keep floating. At the end, what counts is who has the most buildings still standing and the most ships on the water. A game full of choices and small bits of mischief, just enough to laugh about together. Within half an hour you are right in the middle of it. It is no surprise that Nilo was voted best Spanish family game at BGC Málaga 2023.
