Monarch

Butterflies and moths in every colour of the rainbow: that is where Monarch takes you. This card game is all about collecting. You try to gather sets, a bit like Happy Families. And when you are ready for something new? There are extra game variants to try out. The first thing you notice is the beautiful artwork. The illustrator and the designer have worked together before, and you can see that in every card. You almost prefer to lay them out side by side just to look at them rather than play them. Monarch is played with two people, nice and cosy at the table. The rules are explained in no time, so you can start quickly. Ideal for a quiet evening together, with a game that also looks great on the table.
