Longboard

The sun is high, the waves roll in and the surfers are looking for the perfect board. In Longboard you build the finest and longest surfboards on the beach. Whoever sets up the best surf shop in town wins. And that calls for slightly smarter choices than your neighbour. On your turn you take two actions. You draw cards, you add them to make a board longer, or you sneakily swap with an opponent. Every board must be the same colour and rise neatly in value. The cards have stickers on them, and those score points at the end. But watch out: a board you do not finish will cost you points instead. In about half an hour you play a game full of choices and little schemes. Easy to explain, fun to do together, and suitable from age 8. Perfect for a sunny afternoon at the table, with two to four surf fans who want to build the coolest boards on the beach.
