Kronia

The gods are about to choose a new leader, and that leader could well be you. But it will not be easy. In Kronia you have to win the gods over by making the right offerings at the right moment. Whoever gains their favour gets to lead the people into the future. Favour tokens are laid out in three temples. Over twelve rounds you place your offerings in secret, hoping the gods will choose your side. Everyone starts with the same cards, so you need a good feel for what your fellow players are planning. Do you hold on to that strong offering card a little longer, or play it right now? Choices like these make all the difference. At the end everyone counts their favour tokens. The player with the most points is chosen by the gods as the new leader. Kronia is played with two to five people and takes about forty-five minutes. A game full of bluffing, timing and tension right up to the last offering.
