Khyber Rifles

Travel back to the rugged mountains of the North-West Frontier, somewhere between 1875 and the early 1880s. In Khyber Rifles, the troops of the British Raj face their opponents: Afghan fighters and the formidable Pathan tribes. You and your opponent decide how the battles in this inhospitable region turn out. This is a game for the true tactician. Each turn stands for ten minutes in the field, and the small units of about ten men call for planning ahead and sharp choices. The various scenarios are not lifted one to one from the history books, but they do give a striking picture of what took place on this terrain at the time. With two players and a playing time of around two hours, Khyber Rifles is made for anyone who likes to take the time to really sink their teeth into a battle.
