Karma

In Karma it is all about cleverly getting rid of your cards, while you hope your opponents get stuck. Everyone starts with three cards face down on the table. You are not allowed to look at them, so that stays exciting for a while. On top of those you place face-up cards, and you get started with the cards in your hand. On your turn you play a card onto the discard pile. The next player has to play one that is just as high or higher. Cannot do that? Then you pick up the whole pile and end up with a big handful of cards. As long as the draw pile is still there, you keep topping up to three cards. First you get rid of your hand cards, then your face-up table cards, and only last those secret cards you have never seen. Some cards turn everything upside down and change the rules for a moment. Whoever is left with cards last is out. Karma plays nice and fast and is explained in no time. Perfect for an evening with friends or family, happily pushing the piles to each other. Twenty minutes later everyone wants to play again right away.
