High up in the icy mountains lives the emperor penguin, and he loves jewellery. In Jewels for the Emperor Penguin you lead a group of five penguins climbing the steep ice walls of the valley. Along the way you collect gems: emeralds, rubies, sapphires and diamonds. Whoever gathers the right combination can make the emperor penguin happy with exactly the piece of jewellery he is longing for. It is all about collecting and trading. You look for the stones you need and make clever swaps to complete the right recipes. Every piece of jewellery calls for its own mix of gems, so you have to plan ahead and strike at the right moment. Step by step you work towards the order cards that score you points. A colourful game for two to five players aged nine and up, with a playing time of about forty-five minutes. Lovely to sit around the table together, debate the best trade and laugh about that demanding penguin. An adventure full of sparkling stones that you will want to play again right away.
