Hutan: Life in the Rainforest

Step into a world full of green, colour and surprising life. Hutan: Life in the Rainforest takes you to the rainforest, which is also what the Indonesian word 'hutan' means. Together at the table you build a piece of nature that slowly comes to life. Each player has their own patch of rainforest. There you plant flowers and young shoots, which grow into sturdy trees over time. As soon as a real habitat appears, animals come to it. Think of the orangutan, the Sumatran tiger, the hornbill, the cassowary or the Sumatran rhinoceros. Every animal that shows up makes your forest that bit richer and livelier. The game lasts nine rounds and everyone takes two turns per round. You take a flower card from the shared supply and place the flowers in your rainforest. If you place a flower on a matching flower, a tree grows. If an area is completely full of trees, the last tree turns into an animal. At the end, the player with the most beautiful rainforest and the most animals wins. Lovely to play with the whole family, and you can also happily start a game on your own.
