Haunted Lands

Your ancestors travelled a long way before they found the perfect place to start over. Now you are a Seer, someone with the gift to look beyond what ordinary people see. You are the only one who can speak with the spirits that wander these lands. The future of Kalena lies in your hands. In Haunted Lands you set out to explore new areas and gather resources for your community. You move across the tiles, put up buildings and drive away the restless spirits of ancient civilisations. Be careful: those spirits scare explorers out of their wits and make your buildings useless. Only you as a Seer can talk to them and try to send them away. When you return to the tile of Kalena, you sell your goods for Pecunia, learn new skills and train to take more actions. The game runs through three seasons, each with three rounds, and whoever has collected the most honour at the end wins. With atmospheric artwork and beautiful meeples, the world of Kalena really comes to life on your table. A competitive adventure for 2 to 4 players aged 14 and up, in which nobody knows exactly what lies behind the next tile.
