Step back into the 15th century and become one of Europe's first printers. In Gutenberg you build your own printing house and go in search of fame and fortune. You take on commissions, improve your workshop and look for patrons who support your work. Whoever has the most prestige and wealth at the end wins the game. The heart of Gutenberg is a system of turning gears. By using them cleverly, you chain bonuses together and collect plenty of points. Along the way you bid on actions, collect new typefaces, inks and decorations, and your workshop grows step by step. Every choice counts, because your opponents are after the same commissions and patrons. After six rounds everyone takes stock and the player with the most points is the winner. Gutenberg plays with one to four people and is suitable from ten years and up. Count on about two hours in which you all get completely absorbed in the world of ink, letters and craftsmanship.
