Wealthy men who decided how trade was done and who held the most important places in the city. In Guilds of London you take on the role of one of these men, climbing towards the top. You place your guild members in spots that matter and build up your influence step by step. Become master of a guild and that earns you points plus extra actions, making you stronger turn after turn. Even the trading posts in Ulster and Virginia are within reach. Every move counts, and you constantly have to choose where to put your energy. This is a game for enthusiasts who like to think deeply and enjoy going head to head. With four players it becomes a tough struggle for power, but you can also play it solo. Expect about an hour and a half in which you lose yourself completely in medieval London.
