At the same time you try to win the emperor's favour and keep a close eye on your money, because you would rather avoid taking a loan. Over seven rounds you build a hotel you can be proud of. Each round you roll dice and place them on the action board. Players take turns picking one die and carrying out an action. How strong that action is depends on how many dice are on that space. That way you prepare rooms, check guests in, climb the emperor track, earn crowns or hire staff. Every staff member gives a different benefit, so you keep looking for new combinations. Be the first to fill a row or column and you take points nobody else can score afterwards. Fill a whole colour group and you get a nice reward right away.
