Gold Thief

Everyone sits at the table with a little pile of gold, and the others would love nothing more than to snatch it. In Gold Thief you have a secret goal: a certain number of gold pieces you need to hold in order to win the round. Nobody knows exactly how many you need, and that makes it extra exciting. With cards you shift gold and cards back and forth between the players. You can steal gold, push it away, or block an attack. That way you quietly work towards your secret number, while the others try to spoil your plans. Do you start a turn with exactly the right amount of gold? Then the round is yours. A game takes only about five minutes, so before you know it you are on to the next round. The first player to win three rounds is the big winner. Perfect for a quick game with two to five players, and fun from about age eight.
