Gnoming A Round

Rowan is a gnome who cannot sit still. Weeding little gardens and gathering acorns make him a bit tired. He would rather climb onto his turtle's back and travel through the big forest to spy on people. One day he comes back with a story that enchants the whole village: little castles, waving windmills and small green lawns under a glittering sign with the word 'Mini-Golf'. The gnomes get to work straight away to build this wonderful world themselves. In Gnoming A Round you try to play a round of mini golf just like the big people. The goal? Score as few points as possible. Over three rounds you collect and arrange cards in a three by three grid. Play cards with a minus value, or make rows or columns of three identical cards to push your score way down. Three sixes in a row? That gives you -6 points, exactly what you want. As soon as someone has no face-down cards left, everyone else gets one more turn and then the round is over. After three rounds you add everything up and you know who the winner is. Then carry that gnome through the room while cheering, because that is simply part of it. A fun game for the table, with room for the whole group.
