Step into the history of Europe and take charge of an entire nation. In Generalship: From the 4th Century B.C. to the 19th Century you choose Austria, Byzantium, England or France. Then you appoint one of 49 famous generals as your leader. From antiquity to the nineteenth century: all these names come together at the table. You build up your country from within. You gather political power, grow your population, raise your production and work on new technology. Beyond your borders a different game is played: raising armies, looking for allies and joining battle at the right moment. Every choice counts, because you only have a limited number of actions. Whoever collects the most victory points wins. You earn those points by winning battles and developing new inventions. With your leader's skills, a smart approach and a bit of luck, you and the others at the table write your own version of European history.
