Long ago, a queen and her people built a special pagoda to honour the four Gods. The tower stood proudly above the kingdom. But when the queen fell ill, she called her people together. Whoever could create the most beautiful garden around the pagoda would inherit her crown. And the four Gods themselves would decide who that was. In Four Gardens you turn a real 3D pagoda to collect resources. With those resources you play landscape cards, which you bring together in the right order to form a panorama: a beautiful, continuous picture of your garden. Each God has their own track showing how pleased they are with your work. The more gardens and panoramas you complete, the more points you score. This is a game you slowly see grow on the table together. You talk things over, you look at each other's gardens and you admire that turning pagoda at the centre of it all. For two to four players aged ten and up, and with a playing time of about forty-five minutes it is just right for a relaxed evening at the table.
