Close to Dartmoor lies an area that is at least as impressive: Exmoor National Park in Devon. Here heathland and grassland give way to steep cliffs along the coast, with traces of times gone by everywhere. Forest Shuffle Dartmoor Exmoor takes you to this corner of England and lets you discover the remarkable plants and animals that live there. This expansion adds 55 beautifully illustrated cards to your game. The new species fit seamlessly with the base game, so while playing you barely notice that something new has been added. Yet there is a surprise in store: some cards give you a completely new effect. Instead of playing a card from your hand for free, you may now have a rummage through the open cards. Nothing useful there? Then you take a gamble and turn over a number of cards from the deck. Exciting, because you never know exactly what you will get. There are also five new caves waiting for you, each with its own character. They make every game feel just a little different and give you a reason to keep coming back to the table.
