In Forest Shuffle: Dartmoor you build the most valuable and balanced habitat by combining trees, shrubs and animal species, just like in the original Forest Shuffle. This time, though, you play in a whole new landscape full of unique animals, plants and terrain types that bring nature to life.
The biggest new addition are the terrain cards, open plains, marshes and springs, which are played horizontally and determine where animals feel at home. Deer avoid the peat bog, birds look for water, and every piece of landscape calls for careful planning. The asymmetric starting caves and adjusted tree symbols also bring fresh strategies. With 180 beautifully illustrated cards, Dartmoor stays true to the original game, but every session feels like a new walk through the wild.
