Fine Sand

Picture this: a lazy holiday day at the beach. The sun is shining, the waves are rolling and you just start building a sandcastle. But hold on, what are your neighbours up to? Towers are rising all around you. And you were just about to build the tallest, prettiest and biggest castle. Before you know it, everyone is in the middle of a contest. In Fine Sand everyone builds for themselves with the materials at hand. Whoever gets rid of all their stuff first wins the sandcastle contest. Now and then you can dump annoying materials on your neighbours, but in the end you are on your own. Only the player who makes the best use of their options will take the win. What makes Fine Sand special is the approach: no deck-building this time, but deck deconstruction. The game uses the Fable system you may know from Fabled Fruit. Besides a pile of starting cards, every player gets a pre-sorted set of Fable cards. That way your deck changes from game to game. Just keep playing or start over, with the same friends or a new group. And do you want to play on your own? Then an addictive solo campaign is waiting for you.
