Extraordinary Adventures: Pirates!

Hoist the sails and set course for the Caribbean Sea! In Extraordinary Adventures: Pirates! you are a pirate captain with not one, but three ships under your command. You hunt for rich merchant ships to plunder and look for friendly ports where you can trade your loot for glittering treasure. Who will become the richest raider of all? Each turn you play three cards from your hand to send your ships forward. Every card has a number of steps, and often an extra action as well. Do you go for speed, or for a handy advantage? The three routes wind past the islands towards one big goal: the Spanish treasure galleon near Trinidad. Along the way there are side paths full of merchants to plunder and towns where you cash in your loot. That is also how you recruit new crew, which makes your ships sail faster. Push on quickly or stop to plunder first? That choice makes you a true captain. As soon as someone is the first to reach the treasure galleon, the game ends. Then you count points for your position on each route and for all the treasure you have captured. The richest captain goes down in history as the Pirate King! An adventurous game for two to six players that calls for daring, timing and plenty of nerve.
