Evenglow

In Evenglow you lay out a magical garden, with one side full of sunlight and one side full of moonlight. It is all about balance. Each turn you pick two plants for yourself and two that all the other players receive, and this happens at the same time. So you keep an eye on the choices of the others throughout. You place the plants in pairs, exactly opposite each other in your garden. One in the sunlight, the other in the moonlight. It is a lovely puzzle in which you think ahead, but without making your head spin. A game that plays light and still gives you plenty to choose from. What stands out right away are the beautiful watercolour drawings by Clèmentine Campardou, who you may know from Wyrmspan and Origin Story. They make the game warm and atmospheric, something you will happily put on the table together.
