Escape Tales: Children of Wyrmwoods

Your name is Gilbert and your whole life takes place in a small town. Beyond the walls lies a dark and hostile forest, home to the Wyrmvines: monstrous creatures of plant and animal, fused together by forgotten and forbidden magic. Inside the walls you are safe, at least for now. But you are not truly happy. You have no family, no house, no place of your own. The only bright spot is Sevillia, the only one who sees you as more than just a drifter. Escape Tales: Children of Wyrmwoods is an escape room in card form, with the story taking centre stage. You explore a grim world, solve puzzles without time pressure and make tough choices that change the course of the story. Every decision is personal and sends your path in a different direction. That way nobody plays exactly the same adventure. This is the third part in the Escape Tales series, but you can play it on its own. You do not need the earlier parts to enjoy it to the full. Expect a long adventure full of surprises, plot twists and tricky puzzles. It has a system in which your character grows along with your choices, new cards full of riddles and handy objects that help you on your journey into the darkness. A game to sink into together, evening after evening.
