Ensemble

In Ensemble you work together, but you are not allowed to talk. A card lies in the middle of the table. Everyone silently chooses the card that they think matches it best. Only once everyone has revealed their vote may you finally discuss. Did you all choose the same thing? Then you move on to the next level. Is someone off the mark? Then it costs you a life. The lovely part is that you learn to sense each other without words. You pay attention to who is sitting across from you, you guess how the other person thinks, and slowly you get in tune with each other. The goal is to reach level 9. Manage that for the first time and something new opens up: the first of three scenarios, with fresh rules and cards for the games still to come. Handy for large and small groups, because you play with two to ten people. Within half an hour you are right in the middle of it, and it is exactly that silence that creates something special at the table. Everyone is looking, thinking and hoping for the same thing.
